We set off around 10:45 from a crowded Embankment, taking touristy photos with the view of Big Ben and the London Eye from the south bank of the River Thames. We headed west, where London's iconic landmarks could be admired on a splendid sunny day, dry and cool, neither cold nor hot.
Passing through the famous final point of the legendary Wandle Trail added an extra charm to our journey.
Almost reaching Putney Bridge, we left Mel to pick up the dog for her day as a dog sitter :) After reuniting, we enjoyed a well-deserved Sunday Roast and continued to Kew Bridge, after admiring several rowing teams practicing along the way.
We concluded our walk with a warm chocolate milkshake to celebrate our efforts, although it wasn't really necessary.
