After two failed attempts, I finally managed to join a walk with the Surrey Young Walkers.

Luckily, the walk around Woking and Cobham ended with the AGM at the pub, where they presented the year's activities and awarded prizes to the most active members and Walk Leaders. The walk took us through parts I had never explored before (I had never walked around Woking), even passing by a private airport (Fairoaks Airport). We had a packed lunch with a lake view and a pub stop in the middle.

The group is very friendly and welcoming, and I'll definitely be back!
