We set off earlier than expected, and by 10:15 we're already on our way. We leave the charming little village of Henley-on-Thames behind and venture westward. We pass by Grey Courts (a National Trust site) with some amazement and head towards Shepherds Green. Along the way, we spot red kites and pheasants, which can no longer be hunted since March.
We decide to have lunch just after Stoke Row, sitting by a fallen tree, and the sandwiches have never tasted so good; Mike and Luisa's appetite was quite evident :)
We continue towards Rotherfield Peppard and some Ash Plantations (of which I was completely unaware) until we return to Henley, where we celebrate St. Patrick's Day and Italy's rugby victory with a few nice pints of Wolfpack :)
